We hope this letter finds you happy, healthy and looking forward to easing back into regular routines. We wanted to inform you on the steps we are taking to provide a healthy and safe environment for our patients and team with the most current updates relating to COVID-19.
We ask for your patience as we work to get your treatment back on track. We have had to postpone many appointments and when we return to work, it is our anticipation that we will most likely be able to see 40% or less of our normal daily number of patients to permit social distancing.
As a team, we have reviewed and rehearsed our new protocols. We will be strictly adhering to the guidelines provided by Ontario Public Health and our dental regulatory bodies (CDHO and RCDSO). For the well being of all, we will need to be very firm in our processes and procedures.
Here are the changes at your next appointment. They will take a little longer than usual as we have made these changes to help protect you as well as our staff.
~Visits will be by appointment only.
~Walk-ins will not be permitted.
~We have hand sanitizer that we will ask you to use upon entering the office. ~Your temperature reading will be taken upon arrival.
~Please arrive to your appointment wearing a mask or we will be happy to provide you with one.
~We will not be accepting cash, we accept Debit/Credit/E Transfer.
~Appointments will be managed to allow for social distancing between patients. That will initially mean there are fewer options for scheduling your visit until the restrictions by governing bodies are relaxed.
~We ask that you do not bring any companions to your visit to limit the number of people in the reception area.
~You will be asked to wait outside the clinic prior to your appointment. ~Accompanying individuals should wait outside the dental practice (e.g. in their car), unless absolutely required, such as a parent accompanying a young child or a patient who requires accommodation.
~Please bring your own pen to use for filling out forms.
~You will bypass the waiting room, and be escorted directly into the treatment room.
~your treatment may take longer than it has in the past, as there are certain tools that we won’t be able to use for the first few months after returning as they may cause aerosol spray, which isn’t recommended at this time.
We really look forward to your return and are happy to answer any questions you may have about the steps we take to keep you safe in our practice.

Thank you for your trust, patience and your loyalty.
